Essex Association of Local Councils - EALC. The Essex Associations of Local Councils (EALC) is a member led body which aims to protect and promote the interests, rights, functions and privileges of Parish, Village, Community or Town Councils in Essex.

• The Essex Association of Local Councils  (EALC) is a member led Association of Essex Local Councils.
• Through membership of the EALC, the Parish and Town Councils of Essex are affiliated to the National Association of Local Councils (NALC). Partnership Working - the Association has an important role in liaising with local, regional and national bodies.
• The County Team and Association Executive are committed to serving the Local Councils of Essex on various partnerships and committees, and with other authorities.
