CPALC

Worcestershire County Association of Local Councils is the representative body for Parish and Town Councils - the first tier of government - in Worcestershire. We provide training courses, and general guidance on Charter and Quality Parish/Town Status, to all Parish and Town Councils.

The main players in all Parish and Town Council affairs are the Clerks and Councillors. CALC communicates with member Councils via the Clerk unless there is a formal arrangement in place whereby a Councillor, usually the Chairman, is authorised by the Council to contact the CALC office, in matters such as Clerk's employment.
