Q: How do I get my Parish Council to discuss a particular matter at a meeting?

A: You can ask the Clerk or a Councillor to put an item on the agenda: everyone should be able to influence the agenda. There may be a good reason for not putting a specific item on the agenda. For instance, the Parish Council may have recently decided upon action or it is due to discuss it at a later date for practical reasons. Either way, the Clerk should explain the position.
