Q: Our Parish Council has not held a meeting for more than 6 months is this ok?

A: No even if your parish council has held the statutory minimum number of council meetings the length of time since the last meeting means that all your parish councillors have automatically disqualified. Your parish council has no legal councillors. If they subsequently meet and make decisions those decisions are illegal.

You should contact your local monitoring officer at the principal authority so that steps can be taken to correct this situation.
